part of me really wished for a bridal

shower — to have a get together with

friends, to be surrounded by their love and

support, and to forget (even just for a few

moments) the negativity surrounding the

upcoming wedding.

as my flight to Laoag approaches, I was

giving up on the idea that my  close

friends would set one up.  all the more

since most of them are busy with my

errands/favors for the chaotic event.

hahaha, self-pity-mode; but

understanding also that I made them busy

naman kasi talaga.  thus, anger-mode too

‘coz if only the “others” were more

supportive and not as destructive as they

are, then we could have moved at a better

pace than our panic-last-minute-

busy-speed.

kaya, super surprised and happy that my

friends cooked up a great bridal shower!

good attendance, yummy food,

funny/naughty games, magnificent decors,

and very touching and appreciated

gesture.

thank you, thank you, thank you: shey,

betty, riza, mitch, pam, jm, mildz, mane,

achi kat, sten, leslie, majah, julia, (kris,

faye, vanny, angel, and “the manong”).

sooo happy the party for J. CYS was a

success and lotsa fun! ang cool na “game”

lahat ng tao with costumes and all.

whew.

now, on to wedding preps.

flew in from Laoag last night.  Project 2 for

lunch with relatives (mini-get-together

and visit from Tito Danny and Tita Baby

from Australia).  Zipped to Tita Vicky’s

Indulgence at Ali Mall.  Arrived just in time

to see Kristine march down the aisle and

later carried the offertory basket of fruits

(hahaha puny me, ang bigat ng basket ko

sa dami ng fruits that I transferred some

oranges to Tito G’s basket)!

Then, went back to Project 2 for some talk

with relatives again and finally got home

close to 2am.

Oh yeah, Xwind overheated today!  I

wonder what gives (hole sa radiator?

trouble with the belts?). Dang, just when

Kuya is about to arrive and when I finally

declared to have Wudju’s wipers repaired

(talagang laging nagtatampo si Xwind

when it “hears” I will do something to

Wudju)!

joint bridal shower by the legal staff for

kristine (gonna get married on September

21) and me (October 11).
