Kris and I went to
"The Bridal Expo" at the World Trade Center to "shop" for more ideas
and to canvas some more the stuff we still don’t have.

Saw Pixie’s sister and fiance — we saw her also sa SMX Bridal Fair din. Hahaha, same boat; but 2009 pa raw sila.

Comment: parang mas konti mga shops compared with yung fair sa SMX. Oh
well, atleast we came out with one good concept we can apply sa amin if ever.

Photo and Video
contracting — check.  I give my full trust sa Dad ni Julia. Hep, hep,
hep, before I get any negative comment, I did give first option to
Kris’ brother, Kuya Bong, if he could do our photographs.  He said, we
should try to get others din (as not sure nga raw if they can go here sa
Phils in October).  So, to tick off the things to do list na, I sat
down with Julia’s family to discuss video/photo stuff na rin. To my
mind, if Kris’ brother would attend, then we get bonus shots. Win-win
situation di ba?  I hope they would see it that way too.

Bridal
gown design and contracting –  check. payment na lang. ahahaha, yes,
four months to go and now lang ako mag-papagawa (to the shock of the
bgown maker as well).  With many matters still unsettled kasi,
nakakatamad na ring gumalaw and parang what’s the point if hindi rin
matuloy.  Hahaha, as Julia and Betty commented, "O, tuloy na nga ba?
Namili na sa Divi ng kung anu-ano. Nag-ikot ka na sa Laoag ng
suppliers. Tapos nasa gown na."

Let’s see…

Sam, the maternal niece of Kris, was sooo adorable as a cow in her recital from a music workshop in UP.  Hahahaha, the typical Uncle Kris and Tita Ria loving every bit of attending functions of mga pamangkins :o)

 Joey is Mitch’s youngest sister —
the small tyke na nakikisingit lang nuon sa mga photo-op naming barakada. Time flies fast…Joey is now 18! Omg. Ang ta-tanda na talaga namin!!!

My
gawd!  Julia and I went to Divisoria to buy na some giveaway materials.  Super pagod lugging all the stuff we bought and we commuted pa. To think, I just sprained my right foot! Yes, limit movement dapat…but we gotta do what we gotta do.-Besides, can I ask Kris to go to Divi and buy these stuff for the wedding? BWAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA, now, that’s just a comical-almost impossible idea.

Ang
galing ng timing pagdating namin pa duon. May sunog sa Meisic, the mall
beside 168.  Nagkagulo tuloy ng konti. Pero fast acting mga firemen
kaya naagapan agad at tuloy ang usual Divi-scene.

 In Laoag right now to attend to some
KARB WedPrep matters. Kris and I still
think masyadong mahal the price quoted by the florist I earlier spoke
with. Add pa that ang dami ko na ngang
adjustments na ginawa, ang labo pa rin their pricing and demands. Thank goodness the cousin of Kris, Pamy,
referred another florist (whew, meron pa palang iba dito kasi the nephews &
nieces knew and had utilized the first one lang eh). Grabe, ang bait the Three Sisters florist;
and very helpful! Also, Pamy vouches
that said shop really delivers as promised J.

 Lights and sounds — check. Buti
ang bait and so easy to deal with ang AudioMix.

Church — sigh, wala the priest.

 Reception venue we want — sigh,
wala yung account manager.

 Choir — sigh, they have a problem
with the song sheets I gave; medyo namamahalan ako sa price they quoted;
dismayed with transportation requirement ‘coz I thought not a problem na ‘to
considering they are locals. Oh well.

 Cake — submitted design to Pamy
na. Quotations will soon follow.

 As always, a KARB WedPrep is always
with a side trip. Fiesta at Davila,
Pasuoquin. Went there ‘coz Kris will
open the basketball finals with a toss up. While waiting for the game to begin, hehehe, I played some games sa
perya duon. Gosh, it’s been years since
I’ve gone to a perya…sa Aparri pa ata last. After a couple of hours, hindi rin
natuloy ang toss up ni Kris ‘coz of power failure. Oh well, at least he bonded with the SK kids
there, who just really adored him (Hehe, ang lakas talaga sa mga gay! Naku,
sana wala silang nakuhang strand ng hair ko at baka ipapakulam na nila ako!).

 What
a scare. I came home to a weak Polo —
dry nose, rapid gasping, teary and bleary eyes. Nanang said he was fine the whole morning except in the afternoon when
he suddenly barked frantically to be walked out. While outside, Polo suddenly plowed the
street with his head! Natakot nga raw si
Nanang kasi parang he just flipped. Since then til I arrived early tonight, he’s been constantly drinking
water. We put flea power (aside from his
flea collar and the fact that he just had a bath in the morning) on him ‘coz he
must be bothered by a flea sa ear or something. Called up his vet — no longer sa clinic. Called up a vet within the village –- they
don’t do home service at night daw. I ended up consulting the 24hour hotline ng
vet niya who told me to just observe him and take him to the vet tomorrow
morning. In the meantime, give sugar
water and multi-vitamins for humans.

 Soooo
worried… Despite his vitality, Polo is 10 years old na rin kasi eh.
