Kris: Despite the chastisement and "disappointment" of some people, I
am sure, your lola understands your absence in Laoag today ‘coz of some
important matters you have to attend to here in Manila. Presence is
good; but more important is keeping her generous spirit, her loving
memories, and the values she imparted alive in you.  Bias aside,  I see
that you do.  In fact, I applaud your devotion to her (constant private visits at the cemetery) and the fact that you are now championing her causes (Red
Cross Laoag Chapter, education, and the causes of teachers). Hay, with the negativity surrounding us these months, ano pa ba itong isa na naman na ito, di ba? Head up :o)
