i berate myself for not taking any photos during "fall’ season in Magallanes Village, where almost all streets therein were literally covered with dry leaves incessantly falling from the big old trees. what a sight talaga; and what a joy din to have those dry leaves just laying there waiting for me to stomp on them!
now, after the "fall" season, "spring" na sa Magallanes! wonderful sight din the fragrant small flowers "raining" from trees (kaasar nga lang how they blanket the cars). so-oh-lovely! here are some photos — i wish i can also attach the scent!
these are my tire marks…
Took a couple of days off to go to Ilocos for Cong. RRA’s birthday celebration and to attend to some KARB WedPrep matters. Again, maraming sidetrips like the 530am Walkathon for Earth Day celebration
and the opening of the Earth Day exhibit at the Capitol
The birthday celebration of Cong. RRA was very organized this year. Except for the marathonic-drinking spree of Kris with some politicos, everything went great. Happy birthday, Cong. RRA!!! Live long and prosper!
i hope this is true and will indeed save yourself if you are having a heart attack (from my "the Worst-Case Scenario Daily Survival Calendar 2008):
1. Chew Aspirin - Chew and sallow one 325-mg aspirin tablet, or four 81-mg baby aspirins. Aspirin will not stop the heart attack, but it will prevent blood-clotting cells from adding to the blockage.
2. Alert others.
3. Decrease the heart’s oxygen consumpution - think calming thoughts and say quietly "heart-beat" each second to slow your heart rate.
4. Increase oxygen delivery to the heart - lie down and elevate your legs. Open the windows. If you have access to an oxygen tank, place the nasal cannula under your nose, and turn the knob to 4 liters or until you feel air.
5. Perform cough-CPR - breathe in through your nose, then cough every three seconds.
6. do not consume food or water - food or water will complicate treatment to unclog your arteries.
Finally had Wudju registered and undergo its long overdue tune-up; or rather Berby’s hold-up! Haha.
Again, someone advised me to just sell Wudju ‘coz it’s pretty old already and maintenance will just get bigger.
Still, sentimental value wins pa rin now eh. How can I sell Papa’s car?
Oh well, despite shelling out a bit more; ok lang din ‘coz: 1) I had the express LTO registration within the village lang; and 2) the service center I went to allowed me to watch whatever they were doing to Wudju. My new car lesson was about sparkplugs (as dun unexpectedly may problem si Wudju this time + the belts).
Back to the piggy bank for Xwind naman. Next is its wheel alignment troubles.
Gotta do necessary repairs na for both in preparation for Kuya’s service when he goes back here and my service sa Ilocos.
Huwaaaaat?!!!!!!
My Wedding Plans/Program file was corrupted! OMG.
Last i used my flashdrive was at Kris’ comp…now, said file therein just won’t open.
I got back-ups, but with Sunday’s mini-discussion, that file in my flashdrive is the most updated.
Buti may printed version of nun…reconcile na lang uli to reconstruct the softcopy.
*toink
haha. actually just some stuff I got from the hardware store at the mall. I enjoyed assembling the components needed to replace some leaky pipes at home (enjoyed ’til the cashier rang my bill!).
If not for some wedding stuff waiting for me at the comp, I would have installed these myself. But, I wanna preserve the dexterity of my hands for the keyboard, thus, I will just call someone else to mind these.
Post note: The guy hired by Nanang did not do a good job; thus, I left instructions to redo the work…and other pipes I deem needed to be replaced already after a thorough inspection of the other bathrooms at home (wah, I’m broke lalo tuloy — dang, though small, these pipes cost a fortune din ha!).
Hay, kung hindi lang talaga maraming dapat i-computer…

atleast marami na nakaka-recognize nitong pendant ko.
(Thanks for this talaga, kuya!!!)
incidentally, the show will have new eps on September pa raw…
