• I refuse to believe the rumors circulating through SMS that tuloy daw ang labas ng results today.  Preposterous J.  Everyone here says results on April 3 at 7pm; and an email from a friend said the special agenda for so is already slated at 9am that day.  So sure go na then. 

• X-ray results didn’t indicate anything remarkable.  Yehey, last two months of medication na lang! J

• Dang, what’s with Sanjaya’s Mohawk last night?! Blake looked adorable with his hair not gelled up as usual J à hehe, obvious fave (I uploaded his rendition of Time of the Season in my Multiply page)

• Kris is currently filing his certificate of candidacy for the position of Board Member in the first district of Ilocos, Norte.  I’ll be traveling up north tonight to join him on his first official day of campaign.  Skeptic with the great work and sacrifices ahead (commute to Laoag during weekends and work in Manila during weekdays, cost of bus/plane fares, less time for Kris and I, harder communication lines); but the thought of being given the opportunity to meet and serve the country folk is invigorating somehow.  As my friend Macky emphasized to me back in high school: People first, people first!  Oo nga, I’ve long forgotten this; been blinded with the many concerns of my own little world.  So embark with us in this new journey…fight! J

We continue to wait a little longer; from two reliable sources: the original target date of March 29, 2007 for the results of the bar exams of 2006 is now considered not feasible.  New target date is between April 2-4, 2007 (guard friends say the 3rd).  Oath-taking is still slated on April 25, 2007 — just before Justice Romeo J. Callejo, Sr. retires, so the en banc would have the complete 15 Supreme Court justices.

More time to plead our cases to God…may He be merciful, especially since those dates are within the Holy Week 2007.

Volunteer for Bantay Bilang: a parallel vote count, part of the Pinoy Bantay Bayan Network

WHAT: Bantay Bilang

Bantay Bilang is a parallel vote count effort.

Ateneo Loyola Schools has volunteered to head the parallel vote count for Quezon City for the May elections. We will be working with whatever group COMELEC designates to perform the parallel count.

WHAT WE NEED:

We need 456 volunteers per day starting May 14 so that we can finish the count in 6 days (That’s 2736 people). Even non-Ateneans can volunteer.

• In re American Idol 2007: I super like Blake and Jordin!  The former’s rendition of "Time of the Season" was great (added so already in my itunes — listening hanggang magsawa. haha)  Who are you rooting for? :o)
• In re Amazing Race All Stars — yehey tanggal na sina Rob and Amber.  Yeah, obviously i’m not a fan.
• Yehey, Kris in Manila for two days for oath-taking with Judge Advocate General Service (JAGS), Armed Forces of the Philippines.

• Sabi na nga ba fight ito between Sylar and Peter sa Heroes eh J! 

• I was telling Jove last weekend, should I end up in an E.R. in the future, I hope it’s my friends who are gonna facilitate everything. If I leave things with my relatives here to be the first ones to do things for me, baka I’d just worsen!  Kaya nga ang office ID ko, I already indicated to contact Kris na lang in case of emergency.  The thing though with our office ID (aside: we got a new one, with the now CJ, RSP as signatory), hindi naka-indicate number of the person to contact in case of emergency.  What was asked of us to indicate was said person’s address.  Absurd di ba? So, if we do figure out in an emergency, wala na rin sense of urgency by the time other people get to inform the indicated contact person — Phil Post may take 3 days to a week; private couriers at least a day.  So good luck na lang din talaga sa aming mga kawani ng gobyerno dito J.

• Idea from Betty: Use your expired membership/atm/credit cards as bag/luggage tags.  Punch a hole, attach a key ring, and viola = instant hard and waterproof tags! Reminder though, thoroughly cross out your signature and scratch the magnetic strip at the back to avoid possible use by unscrupulous people. 

So thoughtful and funny my friend/AHRC batchmate, Josel J.  He’s with ICC right now; and regretfully informed me that he hasn’t seen any ICC pencils for sale.  Should he come across one but isn’t up for sale, he promised to go to the extent of stealing so as souvenir for me.  Hahahahahaha, kina-career na talaga ng friends ko ang pencil collection ko! 

Thanks for the thought, Josel; pero baka ikaw pa ma-accuse dyan sa ICC nyan, ha J — all for a measly pencil! Anyway, I’d look forward to your new set of pasalubong-pencils from other deep European cities you visited this time J. 

            Yehey, done with the reflections and murder case.   

I’m scrambling to finish all my pending work ‘coz as we approach March 29, it seems my mind cannot handle any heavy thinking anymore.  So stressed with fear and anxiety!  Nightmares are just so vivid that it’s actually tiring to sleep these days.
