  • So, how was your yesterday?
  • At this age, I am still like a gradeschooler in our office.  I am known as the “baon girl.” J  Typically, new employees in government experience one month delay in getting the first salary.  Thus, for my first month, I brought lunch everyday to minimize my daily expenses.  Hehehe, at first, my reply to invites to lunch was, “ay, I have baon eh;” then later, paka-totoo na, “sorry, I’m broke! I still haven’t gotten my salary.”  Now, my salary is regularly released; but I still bring baon to the office.  Nakasanayan na rin kasi.  Aside from tipid-tipid, it’s more convenient for me to just pop my lunch box in the microwave oven at the pantry, than go out and buy food.  Moreover, with nanang’s cooking, we surely have leftovers from dinner the night prior that sayang naman if I don’t consume so for lunch the next day.  Thus, sometimes, I actually crave for McDonald’s or other fast food junk!

tomorrow is the 666 day — June 6, 2006.

To me, since 2006 pa lang, para lang isang Friday the 13th ito.  so ordinary and maybe even a lucky day for me as reverse ang aura magnet ko.  hahaha.

anyway, let’s still call on shaider…ang pulis pangkalawakan and his sidekick, annie, to save us if indeed ma-time-space-warp tayo bukas!

hay, nababaliw na nga ako sa dami ng binabasa at sa pagtutok sa computer screens every day!

  • Finally, our office finished transferring already.  Dang, my sinus was affected big time with the endless dust and dirt.  Now, not only is my cube spacious and blue, it is also within the range of the soon-to-be-installed-intranet lines! Simple joys of life! To my Judiciary friends, we’re at the third floor of the new building; however, since our door is gonna be closed (for security reasons), you can reach me via our main door at the second floor.  Same telephone number.
  • Before we left our fourth floor office, we had a pa-merienda for everyone.  Everyone nga talaga kasi may ghost ding nagpakita and nakisalo.  Nabulabog siguro sa paglilipat.  Kakakilabot!  Good thing we’re moving out.  Sana lang hindi sumunod…however, since our building is practically a relic already, most likely, our new office houses other wandering spirits/elementals as well.  Oh well, sana lang we’ll have peaceful co-existence.  Please?
  • My desk on my new cube has a glass top cover.  Typically, people would insert photos under as decoration (so parang one big frame yung desk).  I had the urge to do the same but I decided otherwise (I’ve got real frames and my computer’s screensaver for my photos na rin lang naman).  Instead of photos, I placed a big world map and a map of the Philippines.  Every morning, I look at them and say, “malilibot ko rin kayo bago ako mamatay.” J Hanep sa inspiration, noh?
  • Recess is almost over and we feel it now with all the cases we need to edit in addition to the records we paw through to produce an output.  Eh I got tons of books/photocopies to be read on the side pa.  Brain and eyes are sooo fried na.
  • Last night, while eating dinner, I chanced upon “Chronicles of the Wings” on Animax — parang continuation ng CardCaptor Sakura (same characters and voices, but in a different world and medyo dark ang plot/setting).  Joey, the youngest sis of Mitch, said it is shown every Thursday 7-8pm and nag-start April pa.  Shucks! I wanna know what happened prior and how it’s gonna end…now na! J
  • It’s so nice to traverse along the roads/walk through the malls of Manila the past days.  Lamp posts, walls, panels are adorned with the Philippine flag or a sticker version of so.  Tapos, may mga street vendors din selling flags.  Flag Month and in preparation for the celebration of our Independence Day.   If you don’t have a flag yet, go buy and be proud to display so! J
