· I got the results of my lab tests. Great that my uric acid level is low; HOWEVER, my bad cholesterol is above normal. Dang. Reacting immediately, I went to the supermarket and bought Nesvita Pro-Heart (one sachet to try muna). Eeeew, tasted like one of the stuff my dad used to drink when he was really weak na. I though it was gonna taste great ‘coz I like the regular Nesvita, but heck NO! The former had no least bit of semblance with the latter!
· Last night, upon the insistence of one of Kris’ nieces, we watched Harry Potter at Powerplant. For the first time since I’ve been watching movies in Power, biglang nasira yung film about ¼ running time. Natawa ako how people were reacting (I mean, Powerplant crowd yun eh). There were less clapping (and mahina/pigil pa those who did); there were no whistling; but there were many grumbles. I think some went to the ticketing office and complained. When the film got fixed, we started complaining to “rewind” to the portions we missed (yun pa man din yung part where Dumbledor was introducing the students from the other schools visiting Hogwarts for the Triwizard Tournament). After a minute, they finally rectified our viewing displeasure. Nag-rewind din and ok na the rest of the film.
· Before watching, we ate at McDonald’s. Yehey, Chicken Little toys na kasama ng kiddie meals. Kris got me one when he was in the US; but it wasn’t the baseball toy we wanted. And so, we ended up buying kiddie meals with the said baseball Chicken Little toy for each one of us! Ha! Ang cuuuuute! I am actually encouraging my other friends to buy the same thing so we can have a Chicken-Little-Wound-Up-Toy-RACE! Hahaha.
· Thank God, it’s Friday!
